Year 33 (which coincidently, was the jersey number of my
childhood hero) is starting off right rad. A grand party to celebrate (okay, a winnebago isn't everyone's idea of grand - but amongst peeps - it felt it), righteous gifts, and now: a raise, annual bonus and a promotion!
(yes, I'm tooting my own horn) Granted, it's more of a lateral promotion than an outright vertical one (with only a slight wage increase), but I ain't complaining. So now my official job title is : Mobile U.I. Designer.
Say huh? Well ,this is an example of what I be doin', when i'm hustlin' during the day:
I really, really dig designing for this thing. Out of all the platforms -BB, Java, Symbian (oops sorry, shoptalk) - iPhone is mad fun. And to think, that when I roamed the hallowed halls of post-secondary, my job didn't even exist...
"Jeez, this IS the future!"
